I’m an extremely creative person, passionate about languages, storytelling, photography, travels and much more.
I believe learning a language should be joyful, practical, and deeply human … and that’s exactly the kind of experience I aim to offer at The Baobab Language Hub.
My journey started with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, followed by a few years working in the financial district in London.
Eventually, I felt the pull to return to what I loved most, so I went back to my early passion and shared it with several wonderful students who eventually became part of my life as friends.
I have spent the past 20 years teaching English, Spanish, Italian and French to learners of all ages and backgrounds, either in Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and Kenya (remember? That’s where our name comes from!).
My certificates and academic experience:
- MA in Modern Languages and Literatures from the University of Parma (Italy) with an original thesis on Irish literature and cinematography.
- Tow Erasmus experiences: at Cardiff University (Wales) and Université de Caen (France)
- CELTA certificate from the Ih-International House in London
- DELE Spanish certificate (C2 level) from the Cervantes Institute in London.
After over two decades in London and a few years lived in Madrid, I now live between Spain and Italy, mainly.
I focus on helping foreigners, especially British expats and their families, to feel more at home in their adoptive countries by building language skills with confidence and ease.
Whether you’re just starting out or brushing up your knowledge, I’m here to support your journey with warmth, encouragement and a few laughs along the way.
Let’s learn together, under this virtual baobab tree.
