The seed for The Baobab Language Hub was planted nearly 20 years ago, when I was volunteering in a remote village in Kenya, teaching languages under the shade of a huge baobab tree.
That tree became more than just shelter from the sun, it was a place for establishing relationships, learning and share stories.
I fell in love with that baobab and it inevitably became the symbol of everything languages can offer: connection, resilience and growth.
Today it still feels like the perfect representation for what I wanted to create.
The Baobab Language Hub is here to provide that same sense of connection, only with the benefits of online lessons and with a focus on helping adults and students feel more confident with the languages around them.
